CHOREOGRAPHERS' CORNER: Faith Jensen-Ismay


Jillian Chu has been a professional dance performer and choreographer for seven years. First based in Chicago and now San Diego, Jillian has dedicated her career to studying the natural movement of the body as well as presenting dance works through BOUND Contemporary Dance.

As a performing artist, Jillian has worked and trained through Laban Centre London, Point Park University, Hubbard Street 2, Thodos Dance Chicago, Allyson Green Dance, Gabriel Masson Dance, Malashock Dance, The Patricia Rincon Dance Collective and Leslie Seiter’s Little Known Dance Theater. She was awarded “Outstanding Performer” by the American College Dance Festival Association in 2002 and invited to dance at the Kennedy Center.
